Living in Petaluma, CA: Riverbend New Construction Homes

The Riverbend new construction community is one of Petaluma’s newest developments. Located in Midtown on the west side of Petaluma, these new homes are close to downtown and right next to the Petaluma river. With Highway 101 just 4 minutes away, the coast 35 minutes away, and San Francisco within a 50-minute drive, Riverbend combines suburban charm with unparalleled convenience.

Riverbend is a modern development that showcases contemporary architectural styles and energy-efficient designs. Let’s start with the Plan 5. This home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 1,983 square feet of living space. This model has a one car garage, a front porch and a small yard off the kitchen. What I like about this home is that there are two bedrooms and a loft on the second floor and the primary bedroom is on the first floor. This is a fantastic set up for families with kids.

Next, let’s look at a Plan 3. This floorplan has the living room, kitchen, dining room, and half bath all located on the first floor. 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a flex space are located on the second floor. What I like most about this model is that there is a studio ADU with a full bathroom and kitchenette on the first floor. This attached ADU in the Plan 3 model at Riverbend could be used as a home office, guest suite, or rental unit. The model I toured also has a large, flat yard shaded by Oak trees. This is the perfect backyard space for kids, pets, and parties.
