Grab a bite at Fern Bar after shopping at Indigenous. My other favorite spots for shopping and eating are in downtown Healdsburg. Check out the unique home goods at Forager and then have dinner at Willi’s Seafood and Raw Bar. The melted cheese with chorizo is to die for.

While public transportation options in Sonoma County are limited, it's possible to get around without a personal vehicle. However, for those who prefer to drive, the area has a well-developed road system, making it easy to get from place to place. The SMART train is a commuter rail that runs through both Sonoma and Marin Counties. The SMART Train provides a comfortable and eco-friendly mode of transportation for commuters, travelers, and residents, with regular service throughout the day and evening. You can take the train from Sonoma County down to Larkspur in Marin County, then jump on the ferry to San Francisco. It is a fun and gorgeous way to get to the city.
